QuestionAnswer
Barbarian A person who belongs to a group that another group considers to be savage or uncivilized.
Assassinate To murder for political reasons.
Hellenistic Describing Greek culture after the death of Alexander the great, including the three main kingdoms formed by the breakup of Alexander's empire.
King Philip The king of Macedonia, he speaks Greek and considers his country part of Greece even though they are just above it. Some Greek people think of Macedonians as savages. He is also the father of Alexander the great.
Macedonia A country right above Greece and they speak Greek they consider themselves Greek too. They have an army stronger than Sparta's. They are very intelligent too.
Alexander the great Took over Macedonia after his death. He got that name because he built many empires and took over all the countries he new of and he named some of them after himself. His role modle was Achilles because he was a Greek hero. Later he died of a sickness.
Alexandria It is at the edge of the Nile Delta. It was the capital of Egypt. It grew famous for its business and trade.It had a huge light house in it's harbor and the city was better than the rest because they had math and science and geometry.
Euclid He invented geometry.
