What was The Long March? What impact did it make? In October 1934, the red army retreated from nationalist lines Over the next 12 months they crossed 18 mountain ranges and 24 rivers in a 6,000-mile retreat known as the Long March. This allowed Mao to regain power in the CCP

Who were the “comfort women”? Kidnapped and enslaved Chinese woman who served and were sexually assaulted by the Japanese army.
