Medical Terms Vascular Lesions

Vascular lesion Wounds related to blood vessels
Cherry Angiioma A small blood vessel tumor
Telangiectasia The overexpansion of the end of a blood vessel; sometimes called a spider angioma
Petechia (freckle or spot) A small bruise
Ecchymosis A larger bruise
Cicatrix A scar
Keloid Overgrowth of scar tissue
