| dermabrasion | rubbing or scraping away the outer surface of skin |

| sclerotherapy | chemical injection into a varicose vein that causes inflammation and formation of fibrous tissue |
| squamous cell carcinoma | malignant tumor of the squamous epithelial cells in the epidermis |

| varicose | pertaining to a dilated vein |
| Vesicle | A membrane bound sac that contains materials involved in transport of the cell. |
