Goal ACT during procedure? 250-500s
Time of contrast nephropathy 1-3 days post-procedure
Treatment of contrast nephropathy NS bolus, bicarb (controversial), N-acetylcysteine (controversial)
Incidence of contrast anaphylaxis ~8% have allergy, ~0.2% will have anaphylaxis
Location of femoral arterial puncture At femoral head. Too high = external iliac = retroperitoneal hematoma. Too low = small branches
Vasospasm treatment Saline flush, verapamil
