Body Planes

QuestionAnswer
coronal plane, frontal plane divides body/part into anterior and posterior portions
sagittal plane divides body/part into right and left portions
midsagittal Separate the body to equal left and right portions
transverse plane, horizontal plane, axial plane divides body/part into superior and inferior portions
oblique plane any angled section, neither vertical nor horizontal
