| adrenocorticohyperplasia | genetic disease in which the adrenal gland is overdeveloped, resulting in a deficiency of certain hormones and an overproduction of others. |
| pancreatitis | Inflammation on the pancreas. |
| thyrotoxin | removal of all or part of the thyroid gland |
| hypoglycemia | blood sugar (glucose) level is lower than normal. |
| lymphoma | cancer that begins in cells of the lymph system. |
| tonsillectomy | removal of the tonsils |
| myasthenia gravis | autoimmune disorder in which antibodies destroy the communication between nerves and muscle, resulting in weakness of the skeletal muscles |
