adenoma Gland tumor
adrenocorticohyperplasia genetic disease in which the adrenal gland is overdeveloped, resulting in a deficiency of certain hormones and an overproduction of others.
pancreatitis Inflammation on the pancreas.
thyrotoxin removal of all or part of the thyroid gland
hypoglycemia blood sugar (glucose) level is lower than normal.
lymphoma cancer that begins in cells of the lymph system.
tonsillectomy removal of the tonsils
myasthenia gravis autoimmune disorder in which antibodies destroy the communication between nerves and muscle, resulting in weakness of the skeletal muscles
Chylothorax condition in which lymphatic fluid leaks into the space between the lung and chest wall.
Lymphedema the build-up of fluid in soft body tissues when the lymph system is damaged or blocked
Atrial septoplasty Procedure to open the blocked atrial septum with a balloon and/or stent before damage is done to the fetus's lungs.
Myocarditis Inflammation of the middle layer of the heart wall.
Thoracic aneurysms. a weakened area in the upper part of the aorta — the major blood vessel that feeds blood to the body.
Tricuspid valve Valve between right atrium and right ventricle.
Bicuspid (mitral) valve Valve between left chambers (left ventricle and left atrium.
