QuestionAnswer
Democracy A government controlled by its citezens directly or through reprsenatives.
Balance of power A political situation in which no one nation is powerful enough to pose threat to others.
Divine Right The idea that monarchs are Gods representatives on earth and are therefore answerable only to God.
Monarchy A government in which power is in the hands of a single person.
Constitutional Monarchy a monarchy in which the the rulers power is limited by law.
Absolutionism (Absolute Monarchy) a king or queen who has unlimited power and seeks to control all aspects of society.
Boyar landowning nobles of Russia.
