climate | the weather conditions prevailing in an area in general or over a long period. "our cold, wet climate" |
weather | the state of the atmosphere at a particular place and time as regards heat, cloudiness, dryness, sunshine, wind, rain, etc. |
prevailing wind | a wind from the direction that is at a particular place or season. "the trees all leaned inland, away from the prevailing wind" |
Earth Spheres | They are round, just like the Earth. The four spheres are the geosphere (all the rock on Earth), hydrosphere (all the water on Earth), atmosphere (all the gases surrounding Earth), and biosphere (all the living things on Earth). |
interact | meet, mix or hang out. |
condition | a state of health or of being fit for use. Her teeth are in good condition from frequent brushing. The car is in bad condition and needs a new engine. |
result | something that happens because of something else; consequence; outcome. We were surprised by the result of the experiment. |
source | the start or cause of something. Not knowing Latin was the source of his trouble with scientific terms. |

Landforms | The earths surface - such as a hill or valley, that have been formed by natural forces of movement, erosion, or the like. |
Fertilizer | a natural or chemical substance added to soil to make it better for growing plants. . |
erosion | wearing away of the earth's surface by wind or water. Heavy rains cause erosion of the river bank. |
recycling | a process that allows used things to be reused. |
