Gallbladder cancer Cancer in the ducts of the gallbladder.
Cholangitis Inflammation of the bile ducts due to cirrhosis or gallstones.
Cholecystitis Inflammation of the gallbladder due to blockage of the cystic duct by a gallstone.
Cholelithiasis Condition of gallstones in the bladder; called choledocholithiasis when stones are in the common bile duct.
Pancreatic cancer Cancer in the ducts of the pancreas; prognosis for most patients is poor because it is typically diagnosed in the late stages.
Pancreatitis Inflammation or infection of the pancreas. •Inflammation is caused by a gallstone in the ducts or by chronic alcoholism.•Infection is caused by bacteria or viruses.
