Growth Hormone (GH) somatotropin (STH) stimulate protein synthesis for muscle and bone growth and maintains, plays a role in metabolism
Thyroid-stimulating Hormone (TSH) stimulates thyroid gland to produce and secret hormones
Follicle-stimulating Hormone (FSH) Women: stimulate estrogen production and development of ovarian follicle; Men: stimulates sperm production in the testes
Luteinizing Hormone (LH) Women: triggers ovulation and development of corpus luteum Men; stimulates production of testosterone
Prolactin (PRL) stimulates milk production in mammary glands
Melanocyte-stimulating Hormone (MSH) increases skin pigmentation by stimulating distribution of melanin granules
