What was the Angolan Civil War? Angolan Civil War 1975-2002 once these nations gain independence, there is often (sadly) civil war, US and Russia took sides to gain allies, note it continued long after the cold war “ended”
What was the Sandinista-Contras conflict in Nicaragua? Sandinista-Contras conflict in Nicaragua 1979 after Castro took Cuba, US determined (often overly aggressively) to make sure no other nation in our hemisphere went communist
