Hematoma Red swollen area where blood collects under the skin
Hemoconcentration Increase in formed elements to plasma
Hemolysis Destruction of RBCs, can occur if tourniquet is tight or left on
Palpation Feel
Petechiae Small red spots on skin, caused by too tight tourniquet
Requistion Form specifying tests to be run or samples to collect. DOB. ID.
