[L3] When did the 2nd Agricultural Revolution happen? Between the 800s and 1200s
[L3] Who was Thomas Aquinas? A philosopher during the Middle Ages who studied Aristotle and combined ancient Greek thinking with Christian thinking.

[L4] What were the first two nations in Europe to develop? England and France
[L4] Who was Canute? The conqueror of England who molded the Anglo-Saxons and the Vikings into one people.
[L4] Why did the Battle of Hastings happen? A disagreement over who should rule England.
[L4] How did William the Conqueror gain control over all of England? By allowing the lords who supported Harold Godwinson to have their lands back, but only if they swore oaths of loyalty to him.
[L4] When did Henry II rule England? From 1154 to 1189
[L5] How was King Phillip IV of France able to resist papal authority? By asserting his authority over French bishops.
[L5] What was the great schism? A seperation in the church from 1378 to 1417 caused by two popes.
[L5] Who was John Wycliffe? Someone who preached that the true heads of the church were Jesus Christ and the Bible.
[L5] When was the Black Plague? The 1300s
[L5] Why was the Hunred Years War faught? A dissagreement over who had the right to the French throne.
