Epidermis Superficial epithelial layer
Dermis Deep connective tissue layer connected to muscles
Keratin Tough surface on the surface of the epidermis (nails,horns)
Melanocytes Calles that produce melanin
Sebaceous glands Oil glands
Sudoríferos gland Sweat glands
Hypodermis A layer of loose connective tissue just below the dermis
Arrector pili muscle Muscle that pulls hair in upright position
Horny structures Keratinized outer structure on/in epidermis
Melanin Gives color to hair and skin
