What are the functions of the respiratory system? The system by which oxygen is taken into the body and an exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide take place.
What are the major structures of the respiratory system Nose, sinuses,, pharynx, larynx, epiglottis, trachea, bronchi, alveoli, lungs
What is the functions of the digestive system? The digestive system is a group of organs working together to convert food into energy and basic nutrients to feed the entire body.
What are the major structures of the digestive system? Mouth, pharynx, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, rectum & anus, liver, gallbladder, pancreas
What are functions of the lymphatic system and immune system? Part of the immune system, protects your body from illness causing invaders, maintaining body fluid levels, absorbing digestive tract fats and removing cellular waste.
What are the major structures of the endocrine system? Adrenal gland, gonads, tesicles, ovaries, pancreatic islets, parathyroid, glands, pineal gland, pituitary gland, thymus, thyroid gland.
What are the functions of the endocrine system? Responsible for regulating a range of bodily functions through the release of hormones. Hormones are secreted by the glands of the endocrine system, traveling through the bloodstream to various organs and tissues in the body
What are the major structures of the lymphatic system? Lymph, lymphatic, vessels & ducts, lymph nodes, tonsils & adenoids, bone marrow, spleen, lymphocytes, thymus
What are the functions of the urinary system? To eliminate waste from the body, regulate blood volume and blood pressure, controls levels of electrolytes and metabolites, and regulate blood pH.
