prophylaxis preventing treatment
palliative treating the symptoms but not actually getting rid of the cause
ipsilateral same side
prone lying down on belly
dorsum the top of the hand or foot
sagittal divided the body in slices right to left
coronal divides the body into slices from front to back
CCU Coronary care unit
SOB shortness of breath
NAD not acute distress (does not display any intense symptoms)
