| Intermediate nursing care facility (INCF) | personal care, social services, nursing for those who DO NOT need 24-hr care |

| Naturopathy & Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) | combine traditional & natural remedies. Focus on diet, exercise, lifestyle, & natural therapies. |
| Osteopathy & Osteopathic Doctors (MDs) | Includes chiropractic, nutrition, environmental conditions emphasis. Training & testing requirements similar to "traditional" MDs with same ability to prescribe, perform surgery, etc. |
| Wellness center | provide routine & preventative services such as immunizations, education on nutrition, physical exams, etc. |
| Diagnostic center | provide procedures such as radiography x-rays to determine cause of disease & injury |
| Rehabilitation center | therapies to help patients regain maximum physical & mental function. Some focus on overcoming substance abuse |
| Surgical center | Outpatient surgeries that do not require hospitalization. Also called same-day or ambulatory surgery. Ex. cataract surgery, muscle, tendon, or small joint repair |
