Invert tube- 5-8 times Additives- Serum separator tube (SST) Test- Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (Cmp) {Chemistry fasting 12 hrs prior to this test} (Rest this tube for 30 minutes then centrifuge for 15)
Tube inver 5-8 times Additives- Heparin Test- Heparin Levels “Used for STAT”
Tube- Invert 5-8 times Additives- (EDTA) Ethylenediamine Tetraaceric Acid. Test- (CBC) complete Blood Count. (HEMATOLOGY)
Tube- invert 8-10 times Additives- • Potassium Oxalate •sodium Fluoride Preserve ethanol & Glucose for 3 days Test- (FBS) Fasting Blood Sugar, (GTT) Glucose Tolerance Test, (2PP) 2 hours postprandial = 2 hrs after meal.
