NOMADS People with no permanent settlement or home who move around often.
ARCHAEOLOGIST The people who study the fossils and artifacts.
PALEOLITHIC A time when people were nomadic and had to hunt for food to survive
ADAPT To adjust your way of life for new conditions
NEOLITHIC The time when people began to grow their own food and to settle down into organized communities.
JOB SPECIALIZATION People took up specific jobs based on their ability
DIVISION OF LABOR Each person had a job
DOMESTICATE To use an animal for work/clothing or raise plants for food
Neolithic the New Stone Age
Paleolithic the Old Stone Age
ARTIFACT an object/tool made by a person
PREHISTORIC the time before information was written down
AGRICULTURE the process of growing food/crops or raising livestock
