| Stone Age | the earliest known period of human culture, marked by the creation and use of stone tools |
| Paleolithic Era (Old Stone Age) | when people were nomadic and hunter animals and gathered fruit for food |
| Scarcity | a situation in which unlimited wants exceed the limited resources available |
