Ch. 3 Put God First

The First 3 Commandments

The first 3 commandments teach us how to love God.

The first 3 Commandments teach us how to love God.
The 10 Commandments are part of the covenant God has entered into with us.
The Second Commandment says that we should respect the name of God.
To live simply and pray often was what St. Teresa of Jesus told us to do to be closer to God.

A covenant is an agreement between people or grops of people.
The 3rd Commandment teaches us to honor God on the Lord's Day.
We worship God when we love and serve him as the one true God.
