When was Trotsky removed of his role of Commissar of War? How did Zinoviev then attack Trotsky, and how did Stalin react? What was the effect on the triumvirate? January 1925. Proposed that he be removed from the Central Committee, but Stalin defended him to seem moderate. Fragmented.
When did Zinoviev and Kamenev first appose Stalin? When was the Fourteenth Party Congress? What did Zinoviev and Kamenev d to Stalin at it? At Central Committee in September 1925. Direct attack.

What was the crisis that affected Russia in 1928? How did Stalin react? How did this lead to criticisms of Bukharin? Food shortages. Hard to buy grain from peasant farmers. Grain requisitioning (Stalin's method). Bukharin seen as being too soft on the peasants.
How did Bukharin think industrialisation should take place? Slow page. Continue the NEP for many years to let the peasants grow economically before starting industrialisation. Then that should happen slowly.
What was Bukharin considering in Feb 1929? When did he lose several government posts including editorship of Pravada? Thought about making an alliance with Trotsky. April 1929.
