How did money change island life? Islanders needed money to buy metal knives and cloth. Instead of farming and fishing to feed families, they worked to earn money.
How else did money change island life? They didn't need large families, just needed money for themselves and family members.
What other way did money change island life? Money changed the island culture. Caused divided between chiefs and the people.
