What are Emperors? They were Rulers of an Empire.
Who was Augustus? He was an Emperor to bring stability to Rome.
What was Pax Romana? This was the Roman Peace.
Who was Caligula? He was and Emperor that ruled in A.D 37.
Who was Claudius? He was also a ruler, but a better one than Caligula.
Who was Nero? He was a bad Emperor just like Caligula.
Who was Marcus Aurelius? He has the best of all of these Emperors.
What was the Colosseum? This was the most famous arena in Rome.
What were Gladiators? They were professional fighters, most of whom were prisoners and slaves.
What was Christianity? This was a religion that was spreading throughout the Empire.
Who was Jesus? This was a Jewish man born in Judah.
What was the New Testament? They were 4 books that were from the Bible.
What were Gospels? They were 4 books that sometimes people would write about Jesus.
What was Synagogues? They were Jewish places of worship.
What were disciples? They were followers that Jesus had created.
What were Apostles? The 12 disciples were known as Apostles.
What were Messiah? They were the followers that Jesus had craeted.
What was another way to say punished for their beliefs? Persecuted.
Who was Constantine? He was and Emperor that made Christianity equal to all their religions.
Who became Emperor in A.D 337? Theodosius.
marcus Aurelius named his son what? Commodus.
Who introduced a number of Reforms, what was his name? Diocletian.
What was the center of the Byzantine Empire? Constantinople.
What church was in the East? The Byzantine Orthodox Church.
What church was in the west? The Roman Catholic Church.
