What is the Tiber River? This was a place were people came to live in the banks of this river.
What is the Italian Peninsula? This was were the people lied, near the Tiber River.
What is the Mediterranean Sea? This Sea stretches 650 miles southward.
Where is Rome located? This spreads across seven low hills about 15 miles up the Tiber River.
Who is Tarquin? He was the one who murdered the King and seized power.
Who was Junius Brutus? He was the one who made a promise to himself to take the throne from Tarquin.
What is a Patrician? They were the most powerful citizens.
What is a Plebelian? All the other citizens left were them.
What is a Republic? When they were a Republic, they had the right to vote and choose their own leaders.
What is a Senate? They were the governing body who represented the Citizens,
What is a Consul? They were officials who managed and governed the army.
What a Dictator? Someone who has total control over the people.
What are Tribunes. This were men who were hired to protect the rights of the Plebelians.
What is a Carthage? This was a city state which was located in North Africa.
What are Punic wars? They were Three Powerful city states that fought over 3 destructive years.
Who was Hannibal? This was a Carthaginian general
What is a Scipio? This was the general that saved Rome.
What is a Patriotism? A sense of pride in one's country.
What were Caesars? Rulers.
Who was Julius Caesar? He was a person of great energy and talent.
What was the Appian Way? They were the most famous roads.
