What were pictographs? They are pictures that represent words.
What was the Shang dynasty? It was a dynasty that was around 1760 and 1500 B.C.
What was the Bronze age? It was the period in which tools and weapons were made of bronze.
What was the Zhou dynasty? It was a dynasty that started about 1027 B.C.
What was a mandate date? It was their belief on how to choose a leader.
What is silk? It is a type of material that they used for clothing.
What was the silk road? It was a route that traders used to trade silk to europe.
What was the qin dynasty? It was a dynasty that had their first ruler Shi Huangdi.
Whhat was the Han dynasty? It was a dynasty that began 206 B.C. and stretched to vietnam.
Who was Wu Di? He was a ruler until 147 -87 B.C.
What was civil service? It was the practice of using skills and talents to work in the government.
What were oracle bones? They were commonly used to show the future.
Who was Shi Huangdi? He was the first emperor of china qin dynasty.
What is the great wall of China? It was a wall to keep their enemies out.
What were middlemen? They go between buyers and sellers.
Who was confucius? He was a highly respected teacher and master.
What is the book of documents? It was a book that a king used to keep texts.
What are analects? They were a collections of sayings confucius.
Who was confucianism? It is a way and living.
What is Daoism? It is the belief of finding the way.
What is Laozi? He was the first great teacher and taught before confucius.
What was the sui dynasty? The sui dynasty reunified.
What was the Tang dynasty? It is considered one of the greatest dynasties in china.
Who was wu hou? It was a empress that came to power in the early ages.
What is the Song dynasty? United warring groups and established a strong central rule.
Who was Genghis Khan? Was a Mongolian leader.
Who was Kublai Khan? The son of Genghis Khan and conquered both China and Burma.
What was the yuan dynasty? It was the first non chinese dynasty ruled by the mongols.
What was the Ming dynasty? Came to power in 1383 and ruled 100 million people.
