what is latitude? run east and west around the Earth.
what is parallel? are always parallel,or the same distance apart.
what is longitude? run north and south around the earth.
what is meridian? run north and south around the earth.
what is global grid? latitude and longitude lines overlaped called global grid.
what is Tropic of Cancer? Northern Hemisphere, at about 23N.
what is Tropic of Capricorn South of the equator at about 23N.
what is tropical zone? between the Tropic of Capricorn and Cancer.
what is torrid zone? between the Tropic of Capricorn and Cancer.
what is the Artic Circle? it is the latitude
what is the Antartic Circle? it is the latitude
what is the temperate zone? The parts of earth between the artic circle and tropic of cancer
what is frigid zone? The zones north of the artic circle and south of the antartic circle
what is polar region? The zones north of the artic circle and south of the antartic circle
what is axis? axis is the imaginary line between the south and north pole.
