What is latitude? Latitude is a line that runs from east and west around earth.
What is parallel? Parallel is lines are always parallel , or the same distance apart.
What is longitude? Longitude is a line run north and south around earth.
What is meridians? Meridians is a other word for longitude
What is global grid? Global grid allows any location on earth to be identified by an exact or nearly exact location .
What is tropic of cancer? The place farthest north at which the sun ever shines directly overhead.
What is tropic of capricorn? This latitude marks the place farthest south at which the sun ever shines directly overhead.
What is tropic zone? Tropic zone is the section of earth between the tropic of cancer.
What is torrid zone? Torrid zone is a other word for tropic zone
What is arctic circle ? it is latitude
What is antarctic circle? is least in summer is latitude.
What is temperate zone? the parts of earth between the arctic circle.
What is frigid? the circle is north and south.
What is polar regoin the zones north of the artic circle.
What is axis ia an imaginary line between the north pole and the south pole.
