What is caucasian? A racial classification, a person with light skin.
What is migration? Moving from place to place.
What is a nomad? A person who moves from one place to another.
What is the definition of domesticate? The adaptation of an animal or plant through breeding in captivity.
What is the definition of fertile? The capability of growing and developing.
What is an atlatl? A device that throws spears.
What is prehistory? The time before writing.
What is history? The time after writing.
What is oral tradition? stories and events passed down by mouth.
What is forensics? The art of formal debate.
What is the definition of neolithic? The end of the stone age.
What is radio-carbon dating? The determination of the approximate age of an object.
What is a clovis? A leaf shaped arrow head made of flint.
What is genetic drift? A mechanism of evolution that causes things to change over time.
What is morphology? The branch of biology that deals with the structure of living things.
What is irrigation? Supplying land with water through a network of canals.
What is surplus? More of a thing or product than is needed.
What is an artisan? A worker that is especially skilled at making something.
What is a civilization? A society with cities, a central government run by official leaders, and workers who specialize in certain jobs leading to social classes.
What is social class? A group, or class, that is made up of people with similar backgrounds, wealth, and ways of living.
What is an era? A long period of time.
What is a decade? 10 years
What is a score? 20 years
What is a century? 100 years
What is a millennium? 1,000 years
