Who is Copernicus? The first to prove the Earth wasn't the ceenter of the universe with his heliocentric cosmology formula.
Who is Johannes Kepler? Was a famous mathematitican, astronomer, and astrologer who helped prove Isaac Newton's theory of universal gravitation.
Who is Galileo Galilei? Helped make improvements to the telescope and consequent astronomical observations, and support for Copernicanism. Galileo has been called the "father of modern observational astronomy"
Who is Isaac Newton? Newton helped prove the gravitational theory and also created the three laws of motion. Known as one of the most influential men in history.
Who is Francis Bacon? Invented the Baconian method or simply, the scientific method still used today for methodology.
Who is Rene Descartes? Western philosophy is a response to his writings, which continue to be studied closely to this day. In particular, his Meditations on First Philosophy continues to be a standard text at most university philosophy departments.
How did the renaissance encourage the scientific revolution? During the end of the renaissance better scientific instruments were invented, also people were taking more of am interest in mathematics and science.
What came out of the scientific revoloution? A different view of the universe, of God, and everything had a logical reason behind it.
What is Royal Society of London? An elite society of mathematiticans. scientists, and astonomers who get together and study the earth and the scientific mathods.
What is Deism? A belif in a higher being but also that miracles and revelations don't exist.
what was the Church’s views of Universe vs. the Scientific view? the church's view was that god explains everything and they should believe in the church and give them money.the also said they should turn away from those who didnt believe.
What was the revolution's view? their view was that the world was round and that everything had logical thought behind it.
what is the scientific mathod? Techniques for investigating phenomena, acquiring new knowledge, or correcting and integrating previous knowledge.
What is a printing press? A mechanical device for applying pressure to an inked surface resting upon a medium (such as paper or cloth), thereby transferring an image. First form of a printer.
