What is agriculture? Is growing crops or raising animals for the use of humans.
What is Cultivation? The act of preparing land to farm on
What is Domestication? Making a plant or animal to keep in one area, such as a farm.
How was life before the agricultural revolution? Hunting and gathering
How did the agricultural revolution begin? We started farming and domesticating pants and animals to our environment.
What is Subsistence Agriculture? The making of food that is mainly for the farmer's family.
What is Commercial Agriculture? The selling of food that is produced on your farm.
Who is Carl Suer? He creating the theory on how the agricultural revolution started.
What is the the only animal that was given from the new world to the old world? Turkeys
What are the 5 major crop hearths? Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, South East Asia, East Asia, and South West Asia
What is ones of the reasons agriculture is so different in developing countries, than in developed countries? Developing countries may not have all the machinery and money to have bigger farms. This making it more expensive to farm.
What was the first agricultural revolution?
What was the second agricultural revolution? 1800's; the use of machinery and refrigerators
