What did Hera send to Hercules? Why? and What happened? She sent two serpents to devour him, because she hated Hercules. He killed the serpents.
What did the gods force Hercules to do? He had to become the slave of his cousin Eurytheus.
Why did the gods take away Hercules strength? Hercules killed a friend. The gods punished him by making him ill, and they would not cure him. So he tried to steal the tripod from the Oracle of Delphi. They took away his strength and made him a slave to Omphale who dressed him like a woman.
What deed did Hercules perform for his freind Admetus? Hercules went to Hades and seized Admetus' wife, Alcestis, and returned her to her home.
How did Hercules die? his wife Deianira put the centaur's blood on Hercules' robe. It burned him and killed him. He was cremated and his spirit went to the heavens where he was welcomed as a god!
