Ball & Socket, Ellipsoid, Hinge, Saddle, Gliding, Pivot

Extension of the spine is Bilateral contraction
Lateral flexion of the spine is Unilateral
Bilateral contraction Elevates the head by dorsally extending the upper cervical joints
Dorsally Dorsal is a word that refers to things that have to do with ones back ; aka dorsal fin
Unilateral Movement Is a movement that is produced by one limb (one arm or one leg)
Bilateral Movement Is a movement that is produced by both limbs working together (two arms or two legs)
