| (HBsAg) Hepatitis B Surface Antigen | Demonstrates presence of Hepatitis antigen on surface of red cells. |
| HCV | Demonstrates presence of hepatitis antibodies on surface of red cells. |
| GENERAL STUDIES | Cold agglutinins, hs-CRP, HCG, Immunoglobulins, RF |
| Cold Agglutinins | Present in cases of atypical pneumonia. |
| (hs-CRP) High-Sensitivity C-reactive protein | Increased levels of protein are present in inflammatory conditions. |
| (HCG) Human Chorionic Gonadotropin | Present in pregnancy (serum & urine). |
| Immunoglobulins | Can show presence of 5 subclasses of antibodies made by immune system to neutralize foreign antigens, such as bacteria or toxins. |
| (RF) Rheumatoid Factor | Presence of antibody indicates rheumatoid arthritis. |
