Incan bridges Bridges built by Incas. Made out of straw.
chichen Itza A mayan pyramid is here . Twice a year a shadow appears that looks like a serpent slithering down its steps.
Tenochtitlan An Aztec city. It was built on river canals. Their was a market.
sacred round A mayan religious calendar
city-states A city with its own government.
human sacrifices The Aztec did them for religious purposes. The Inca also did them but not as many.
quipu A piece of string and from it dangled shorter strings of many colors.
Aztec daily life punishment Brought boy near fire. Thew chilies in the fire and it stung the child's eyes
sapa Inca The ruler of the inca. The living god of the sun god
