DOPANINE NEUROTRANSMITTER IN THE BRAIN. DRUGS AND ALCOHOL INCREASE LEVELS CAUSING EUPHORIA. DECREASED LEVELS CAN CAUSE DEPRESSION. COMBINATION OF INCREASE AND DECREASE CAN CAUSE PARANOIA
NOREPINEPHRINE NEUROTRANSMITTER IN THE SYMPATHETIC DIVISION AND HORMONE OF THE ADRENAL GLAND. CONTROLS INVOLUNTARY PROCESSES SUCH AS HEART RATE, RESPIRATORY RATE AND BLOOD PRESSURE. INCREASED LEVELS CAN CAUSE AGRESSION AND MANIA. DECREASE CAN CAUSE DEPRESSION
SEROTONIN NEUROTRANSMITTER IN BRAIN AND SPINAL CORD PRIMARILY FOUND IN THE GI TRACT. DECREASE CAN CAUSE DEPRESSION, INCREASE CAN CAUSE VIOLENT BEHAVIOR. CAN AFFECT SLEEP, DIGESTION AND SEXUAL DESIRE.
ANOREXIA NERVOSA EXTREME CHRONIC FEAR OF BEING FAT AND OBSESSED WITH BECOMING THINNER. AN- WITHOUT; OREX/O - APPETITE
BIPOLAR DISORDER CHRONIC MOOD SWINGS BETWEEN MANIA AND DEPRESSION. (AKA MANIC DEPRESSIVE DISORDER) BI - TWO POL/O- POLE
PSYCHOSIS LOSS OF TOUCH WITH REALITY (E.G SCHIZOPHRENIA)
