FOVEA SHARPEST VISION - AREA OF GREATEST VISUAL ACTIVITY. LIES W/IN THE LARGER MACULA. A SMALL DEPRESSION IN THE CENTER OF THE MACULA
PUPIL ROUND OPENING THAT ALLOWS LIGHT RAYS TO ENTER THE EYE.
OPTIC DISK BLIND SPOT. BRIGHT YELLOW-WHITE CIRCLE WITH DISTINCT EDGES IN THE AREA OF THE RETINA CLOSEST TO THE NOSE.
MYOPIA MYOP/O - NEAR VISION - NEARSIGHTEDNESS
HORDEOLUM STYE - RED PAINFUL SWELLING OR PIMPLE CONTAINING PUS ON THE EYELID. CAUSED BY BACTERIAL INFECTION IN A SEBACEOUS GLAND. CAN BECOME A CHALAZION OR GRANULAR LUMP OR CYST
CATARACT CLOUDING OF THE LENS CAUSED BY AGING SUN EXPOSURE, TRAUMA, SMOKING OR DRUGS. VISION IS DULL AND BLURRY WITH FADED COLORS AND A YELLOWISH TINT AROUND THE LIGHTS
LIMBUS BODER WHERE THE WHITE SCLERA BECOMES THE TRANSPARENT CORNEA OVER THE ANTERIOR ASPECT OF THE EYE.
