Which medications are included in Schedule I. These are illegal and providers may not prescribe them. Heroin, Mescaline, Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), Marijuana.
Which schedule includes HIGH potential for abuse and are considered DANGEROUS, can lead to psychological and physical DEPENDENCE? Schedule II
Which medications are included in Schedule II. Providers MUST give a handwritten prescription with NO REFILLS. Morphine, Methadone, Oxycodone, Hydromorphone, Hydrocodone, Fentanyl, and Methamphetamine.
Which schedule includes substances that have MODERATE to LOW POTENTIAL for physical and psychological dependence? Schedule III
Which medications are included in Schedule III. Providers may refill 5x's in 6 months with a written prescription. Ketamine, anabolic steroids, and Testosterone.
Which schedule includes substances that have LOW POTENTIAL for abuse and dependence? Schedule IV
Which medications are included in Schedule IV. Staff may authorize refills over the phone? Diazepam, Zolpidem, Eszopiclone, Alprazolam, Chlordiazepoxide, and Clonazepam.
