Boys Ride Bikes So Little Girls Love Games

B-Boys For blood cultures= aeorbic-blue fill first and anerobic-red, growth medium additive; yellow-pediatric bottle
R-Ride Plain Red Tube= clearing tube, no additive
B-Bikes Light Blue Tube= has to be full and has the additive sodium citrate
S-So SST tube= Serum Separator Tube/ tiger top, has a clot activator; also a gold tube
L-Little light green tube=PST tube or Plasma Separator Tube, has lithium heparin gel in it as activator
G-Girls Green tube, lithium heparin and has no gel
L-Love Lavender tube, EDTA in it
G-games gray tube used for sugars and glucose tests and has sodium fluoride and potassium oxalate
ACD Acid Citrate Dextrose, light yellow tube
Bilirubin Gold tube with same as SST
Heavy metal testing royal blue tube with EDTA
AIDS pearl tube, EDTA plasma separator gel in it.
