Hemisphere Half of a sphere [Earth is separated into north and south hemisphere and east and west hemisphere]
Latitude the angular distance of a place north or south of the earth's equator, or of a celestial object north or south of the celestial equator, usually expressed in degrees and minutes.
Longitude measures east and west and the lines run from north to south
Prime Meridian 0 degrees longitude and divides the earth into east and west hemispheres
Equator 0 degrees Latitude and divides the earth into north and south hemispheres
Compass shows ‘cardinal direction’ NORTH SOUTH EAST WEST
