Placenta containing separate vascular systems of the mother and fetus, serves as an endocrine gland.
Thymus is a bilobed body located in the mediastinal cavity in front of and above the heart.
Adenectomy surgical excision of a gland.
Adenoma tumor of a gland.
Acidosis condition of excessive acidity of body fluids.
Endocrinology study of the endocrine system.
Euthyroid normal activity of the thyroid gland.
