rect/o Rectum= refers to the final portion of the colon before it arrives at the anus.
proct/o Anus and Rectum= refers to both the anus and rectum
ile/o ileum= refers to the third of the small intestine's three sections. Its name means groin because it is located in the lower abdomen
peritone/o Peritoneum= is a membrane that lines the abdominal cavity and covers most of the abdominal organs.
aerodontalgia tooth pain caused by exposure to air
eupepsia good digestion
icterus another name for jaundice which is yellowing of the skin, tissue, and fluids caused by increased levels of bilirubin in the blood.
