Study of the book of Judges

Where did an Angel of the Lord come from and go to announce judgment? From Gilgal to Bochim - 2:1
What did the angels say God would not do? Break the covenant He made with them - 2:1
What did the angel of the Lord tell the people not to do? Make no league with the inhabitants of the land - 2:2
What were the people to do with the altars used by the inhabitants of the land? Throw them down (destroy) - 2:2
What was the angel referring to when he said why have ye done this? They had disobeyed God - 2:2
What did the angel of the Lord say about the inhabitants that were not driven out of the land? They shall be a thorns in their side. 2:3
What did the angel of the Lord say about their idols? They would be a snare unto them - 2:3
What did the people do when they heard what the angel of the Lord had to say? They lifted up their voice and wept - 2:4
What did the people call the place where the angel of the Lord spoke to them? Bochim (weepers) - 2:5
What did the people do at Bochim after the angel spoke to them? They sacrificed there unto the Lord - 2:5
Where did the people go after Joshua let them go? They went into their inheritance to possess the land - 2:6
How long did the people serve the Lord? All the days of Joshua and all the elders who outlived Joshua and had seen all the great works of the Lord, that He had done for Israel - 2:7
How old was Joshua when he died? 110 years old - 2:8
Where was Joshua buried? In the border of his inheritance in Timnath-heres in the mount of Ephraim on the north side of the hill Gaash- 2:9
What was noted about the generation after Joshua and the elders who had seen all the great works of the Lord, that He had done for Israel? They knew not the Lord nor the works He had done in Israel - 2:10
Judges 2:11 says that all the people did what in the sight of the Lord? They did evil and served Baalim - 2:11
What did the people do that provoked the Lord to anger? Forsook the Lord God of their fathers and followed other gods - 2:12
What two gods are listed in Judges 2:13 that the people of Israel served? Baal and Ashtaroth - 2:13
What did God do to the Israelites when they served other gods? He delivered them into the hands of spoilers and sold them into the hands of the enemy so that they could no longer stand before their enemies - 2:14
What happened to the people when God allowed the oppression He had promised if they disobeyed Him? They were distressed - 2:15
Who did the Lord raise up to help the people of Israel? Judges which delivered them out of the hand of those that spoiled them - 2:16
What did the people do to the judges? They did not hearken unto them worshiped and served other gods and turned quickly out of the way which their fathers walked and did not obey the commandments of the Lord - 1:17
What did the judges do for the people of Israel? Delivered the people out of the hand of the enemy - 2:18
What happened after those judges died? The people returned and corrupted themselves more than their fathers in following other gods, to serve them and to bow down before them and refused to turn from their stubborn ways - 1:19
Why was the anger of the Lord hot against Israel? They transgressed God's covenant and hearken unto the voice of God - 2:20
Why did God say He would not drive the inhabitants of the land that Joshua failed to drive out? That through them He would prove (test) Israel whether they would keep the way of the Lord to walk therein - 2:21-23
