What two gods are listed in Judges 2:13 that the people of Israel served? Baal and Ashtaroth - 2:13
What did God do to the Israelites when they served other gods? He delivered them into the hands of spoilers and sold them into the hands of the enemy so that they could no longer stand before their enemies - 2:14
What happened to the people when God allowed the oppression He had promised if they disobeyed Him? They were distressed - 2:15
Who did the Lord raise up to help the people of Israel? Judges which delivered them out of the hand of those that spoiled them - 2:16
What did the people do to the judges? They did not hearken unto them worshiped and served other gods and turned quickly out of the way which their fathers walked and did not obey the commandments of the Lord - 1:17
What did the judges do for the people of Israel? Delivered the people out of the hand of the enemy - 2:18
What happened after those judges died? The people returned and corrupted themselves more than their fathers in following other gods, to serve them and to bow down before them and refused to turn from their stubborn ways - 1:19
Why was the anger of the Lord hot against Israel? They transgressed God's covenant and hearken unto the voice of God - 2:20
Why did God say He would not drive the inhabitants of the land that Joshua failed to drive out? That through them He would prove (test) Israel whether they would keep the way of the Lord to walk therein - 2:21-23
