President | title given to the head of government (and head of state) in a presidential democracy; elected by the citizens |
Prime Minister | title often given to the head of government in a parliamentary democracy; selected from among members of the legislature |
Parliament | common name given to the legislature in a parliamentary democracy |
political party | an organization which represents a specific political agenda and socioeconomic positions with a given nation |
compulsory | mandatory and enforced, NOT voluntary |
