What powerful new weapons were first used in World War I? machine guns, giant cannons, tanks, submarines with tropedoes, and flame throwers
Why did U.S. enter World War I? U.S. discovered a secret telegram that revealed Germany had been working to make Mexico a German ally. Lusitania was sunk by German submarine and American citizens were killed.
