What is India? India is a subcontinent.
What river is one of the major rivers in India? The Ganges River is one of the major rivers in India. Some Indians consider it holy.
What 3 bodies of water surround India? The Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean, and the Bay of Bengal surround India.
What are 2 mountain ranges ? Hindu Kush and the Himalayas.
What is a monsoon? A monsoon is a seasonal wind.
What are 2 types of monsoons? summer and winter monsoon
What did the earliest farmers raise? They raised wheat and barley.
What did the first people in Asia do? They grew cotton and made it into fabric.
The first people in Asia also domesticated? Cattle, sheep, goats and chickens
What did they also make? They made copper and bronze tools, which were more effective than stone tools.
