Realpolitik putting the needs of the country above everything else, even if it means war.
Austro-Prussian War after 7 weeks, prussia won. this allowed bismark to annex more land and help unify germany with prussia at its head.
Franco-Prussian War caused by bismark tricking napoleon the 3rd into war lasted short time and created the German Empire.
William I Crowned Kaiser of the new empire if germany in jan,1871.
