Paleolithic Era The Old Stone Age that was marked by nomadic hunter-gatherer societies who developed fire, oral language, simple tools and cave art
Homo Sapiens Early Humans that emerged from Africa in 100,000 and migrated to Eurasia, Australia and the Americas
Hunter-Gatherer Societies nomadic clans who migrated in search for food, water, and shelter
Physical Enviornment Natural geological features that shape the environment like rivers, peninsulas and mountains.
Neolithic Era The New Stone Age that was marked by permanent settlements that developed agricultural and animal domestication.
Domestication The ability for humans to control agriculture and breading of animals that increase supply of products for human use.
Archaeologists Social scientist who study past cultures by locating and analyzing human remains, settlements and fossils and artifacts.
Carbon Dating a scientific test that analyzes fossils and artifacts
Stonehenge Neolithic Age archaeological site in England
Aleppo & Jericho Early cities in Fertile Crescent studied by archaeologists
