The Ear

TermDefinition
The three parts of the Ear Outer, middle, and inner ear.
Outer ear is made up of..... Pinna and ear canal.
The Function of the outer ear is... Funnels sound waves down the ear canal to the eardrum. Collect sound, funnels the sound waves down the ear canal to the eardrum.
Middle ear is made up of..... Good vibration.....3 parts of the middle ear are the ear drum, ossicles, and eustachian tube.
Eustachian tube Equalizes pressure of the eardrum. Connects the middle ear with the throat.
The three Ossicels The Malleus, Incus, and Stapes.
Inner ear is made up of..... Cochlea and semicircular canals.
Chochlea meant for hearing.
Semicircular Canals meant for balance.
